Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our client's organization in Itasca, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance.
2. Identify issues by observing mechanical devices in operation.
3. Dismantle machinery, replace defective parts, and reassemble efficiently.
4. Assess part requirements by inspecting equipment and conducting preventive maintenance.
5. Respond to mechanical maintenance inquiries and provide necessary information.
6. Collect, analyze, and summarize data for maintenance reports, identifying trends.
7. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, including installing sensors, switches, relays, and overloads.
• Knowledge of VFD & VSDA is a plus.
• Welding and cutting skills.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.
• Strong problem-solving skills, safety awareness, and attention to quality.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, plumbing, and code books.
• Experience working with pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and blowers.
