Job summary

Automation Personnel Services, Houston East is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to perform general facility maintenance, equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment. The role offers a $26.00–$30.00 hourly rate and is a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity.

The position requires experience in manufacturing maintenance, the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Must have industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Must work safely around industrial machinery and equipment.
• Must be willing to work Fridays for makeup time and/or overtime; position is Temp-to-Hire based on performance and company needs.
• Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and Background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance and preventive/corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot 480V/110V electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC, VSD, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain and repair overhead cranes, air compressors, and shop equipment; read prints and schematics.
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA/NFPA guidelines, maintain accurate records, and keep work areas clean and safe.

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to perform general facility maintenance, equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment

Pay Rate

$26.00–$30.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday–Thursday

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Maintenance Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities

• Must have industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Perform general facility maintenance and preventive/corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair 480V/110V electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC, VSD, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
