Salary

💵Salary: $30 - $35/hr. (Overtime opportunities available).

  • 7 AM a 7 PM, 2 days on 2 days off, no rotation.

About the Role

Team 360 Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work for one of our trusted partner companies! The function of this job is to supply technical and maintenance support to the plant and equipment, ensuring that all equipment is maintained in good operating condition, serviced at regular intervals, and minimizing down time.

Responsibilities
  • Service production equipment, lubricate as per maintenance schedules.
  • Collect, store, and maintain waste oils, greases, etc.
  • Assist in the disposal of waste.
  • Record and document all maintenance and repair records for all plant equipment.
  • Fabricate tools and fixtures as directed by Maintenance Manager.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Required to work on-call overtime during maintenance emergencies and maintenance shutdowns.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on process and facility equipment to ensure efficient operation.
  • Ensure that health and safety standards are followed within the Maintenance Department.
  • Ensure that Lock-out/Tag-out procedures are followed for equipment repairs and adjustments.
  • Ensure that all repairs are done in compliance with legislation (building, electrical, pressure vessels codes).
  • Conduct all jobs with an assigned maintenance employee.
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, electrical schematics, electronic controls, motor drives (VFD’S), HVAC and pneumatics
  • High school diploma required. Technical certifications or trade school education preferred.
  • Understanding of processes and materials.
  • Must be able to understand the operating principles of machines.
  • Possess mechanical skills and ability to conduct preventative maintenance on necessary equipment.
  • Must have an understanding of 480V AC/DC voltage and AC/DC drives
  • Dependable with good attendance, safety centered, customer focused, results driven, productively engaged, and team oriented.
  • Must have the ability to work productively with minimum supervision.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact with co-workers, customers, vendors and contractors.
  • Resourcefulness and self-motivation.
