American Aluminum Extrusion in Ohio is seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our Maintenance team. You will repair and maintain forklifts and other material-handling equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel-system issues, and ensure safe, reliable operation across the facility.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of forklift repair experience, strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment within the facility.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel-system issues.
• Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering components, hydraulic systems, batteries, and other components.
• Assist with general maintenance and repair activities throughout the facility as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
