Job summary

Executive Human Resource Service is recruiting a Maintenance Mechanic for a food & beverage manufacturing site in Chicago, IL. The role emphasizes equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with production teams to sustain high-speed packaging lines.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience or an industrial maintenance apprenticeship, with strong knowledge of mechanical systems and CMMS/SAP-PM usage.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment; OR completion of a recognized Industrial Maintenance Apprenticeship or Skilled Trades Program
  • Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States
  • No Sponsorship Available
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Technical school, trade certification, or apprenticeship completion is highly desirable

  • Maintain high-speed production and packaging equipment to uphold uptime and quality
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize breakdowns
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, drives, and hydraulics

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Technical school, trade certification, or apprenticeship completion is highly desirable
