Job summary

Morales Professional, a Morales Group company, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to keep high-speed manufacturing equipment running at peak performance—from blow molding and injection molding lines to conveyors and plant utilities. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and prevent downtime in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment (packaging, plastics, etc.).
• Knowledge of VFDs, servo motors, PLCs, and industrial networks.
• Experience reading P&IDs and diagnosing complex systems.
• Must supply your own basic tools and toolbox.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production machinery, conveyors, and plant utilities.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and minimize downtime.
• Work cross-functionally with Operators, Supervisors, and Senior Technicians to resolve issues quickly.
• Troubleshoot industrial controls, PLC I/O, and electrical systems.
• Document repairs, work orders, and parts usage.
• Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Support production needs and maintain consistent attendance.

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot production machinery, conveyors, and plant utilities (chillers, air compressors, etc.)
• Support preventive maintenance programs and minimize downtime
• Work cross-functionally with Operators, Supervisors, and Senior Technicians to quickly resolve issues
• Troubleshoot industrial controls, PLC I/O, and electrical systems
• Document repairs, work orders, and parts usage
• Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements
• Support production needs and maintain consistent attendance

What You Bring:

• 4+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or similar environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills using schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment (packaging, plastics, etc.)
• Knowledge of VFDs, servo motors, PLCs, and industrial networks
• Experience working with equipment such as Krones, Sidel, Husky, or similar
• Working knowledge of 480VAC and 24VDC electrical systems
• Ability to read P&IDs and diagnose complex systems
• Comfortable using precision tools and shop equipment
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to communicate effectively across teams
• Must supply your own basic tools and toolbox

Education:

• Required: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, or related field
