Job summary

UNC Finance and Operations is seeking a facilities technician to perform general carpentry, minor electrical work and plumbing repairs. You will work with Housing and Residential Education staff to plan tasks with minimal disruption to students and staff.

A valid North Carolina Driver's License or ability to obtain one prior to start date is required.

$2,040.50 WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE DATE & $2,040.50 12 MONTHS AFTER HIRE DATE.

Performs general carpentry, minor electrical and general plumbing repairs and has daily contact with Department of Housing and Residential Education and Facilities Services Housing Support staff and has responsibility for doing a great deal of planning to ensure minimal impact on students and staff while performing duties and responsibilities.
