UNC Finance and Operations' Facilities Services Mason Shop is seeking a Maintenance Mason/Trades Helper to support campus building maintenance, masonry walks, steps, ramps, brick sidewalks and related tile repairs. The role requires reliable performance in a dynamic campus environment and adherence to safety standards.

A valid North Carolina driver's license is required, with the ability to obtain one if not currently held.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License (or ability to obtain one) prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform masonry and general concrete work on campus buildings.
• Repair brick sidewalks, steps, ramps and tile work as required.

$2,040.50 WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE DATE & $2,040.50 12 MONTHS AFTER HIRE DATE.

This position supports the Facilities Services Mason Shop, which provides total maintenance, service and repair to all campus buildings including building masonry walks, steps, ramps, all general concrete work, brick sidewalks, making various rock wall repairs, and all types of masonry tile repairs and step nosing on campus buildings.
