Job summary

CorTech International in Carson, CA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team on the 1st shift. The position requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment and is a full-time role.

You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, read diagrams, and perform preventative maintenance while maintaining a safe, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance mechanic experience in manufacturing.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLCs, conveyors, motors, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and ladder diagrams.
• Diagnose and repair sensors, power supplies, HMIs, PLCs, counters, and other electronic components.
• Install and troubleshoot 120V, 240V, and 480V electrical systems.
• Repair conveyors, AC/DC motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and transmissions.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Fabricate and modify small tooling as needed.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay:

$30.00/hr
