Job summary

Sika is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for the Canton, MA area to support our Roofing business. All shifts available with differential pay for day and night rotations.

Responsibilities include general facility maintenance, lubrication of heavy machinery, and component repairs with emphasis on safety and quality. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of industrial mechanical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of EH&S regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 5+ years industrial mechanical experience.
• Experience with bearings, belts, chains, conveyors and filters.
• Familiarity with environmental, health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance on assigned shift.
• Lubricate and service heavy production machinery.
• Repair bearings, gear-heads, belts, conveyors and filters.
• Modify components to meet safety regulations and cost-saving needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic cylinders and controls.

About the RoleSika is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanics to join its growing team in the Canton, MA area for our Roofing business. Currently looking for all shifts.
