Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a maintenance mechanic for the Bridgewater, NJ area. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading mechanical and electrical equipment, and performing preventative maintenance on industrial plant machinery.

Qualified candidates will have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, the ability to read schematics, experience with pumps, motors, pneumatic/compressed air systems, and torch cutting. Drug test required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience with pumps, motors, and compressed air systems.
• Experience with oxygen/acetylene torch cutting.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with computers for record keeping and documentation.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Monday - Friday
• 8:00am - 5:00pm

Competitive Compensation Offered!

• $30/hr.

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade mechanical and electrical equipment, including sourcing and installing replacement parts.
• Perform and document preventative maintenance on industrial plant equipment.
• Maintain and organize maintenance supplies and inventory.

Maintenance MechanicQualifications:

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience with pumps, motors, and compressed air systems.
• Experience with oxygen/acetylene torch cutting.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Ability to respond to emergency breakdowns, including off-hours calls.
• Proficiency with computers for record keeping and documentation.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
