Job Description

2nd Shift - 2:00pm - 10:30 pm

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
• Oil and lubricate moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
• Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Send order requests for parts or replacements to management.
• Identify causes of unexpected machine breakdowns.
• Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed.
• Read electrical and mechanical blueprints.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Work independently and make necessary modifications, conducting test runs and consulting with the product manager on results.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

• Vocational or community college coursework related to the field or equivalent experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Visual inspection of machines.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
