Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work in the Avon, OH area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Responsibilities:

• Inspects equipment, tools and machinery for safety issues
• Requisitions parts and services
• Uses test equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose failures
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical failures: presses, equipment, plumbing, all vehicles (except expensive engine overhauls)
• Repairs tow motor, trucks, cranes, hoists
• Lays out and assembles new machines and equipment
• Carries tools and equipment to and from storage and working area
• Cleans machines with sandpaper, solvent and wiping rags to prepare surfaces for painting
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery using rags, brushes and grease gun
• Building Maintenance (toilets, light bulbs, sinks, ceiling tiles, some groundwork, etc.)
• Assist in training employees
• Effectively communicate with supervisor and co-workers on either shift
  
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• Some hydraulic and pneumatic experience
• Conveyor repair (replace belts/drive belts, bearings, and tracking belts)
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Experience in lock out tag out
• Welding and fabricating Ex: MIG, TIG, Stick, brake, roller, and/or plasma cutter
• Experience using hand tools
• Boom and scissor lift experience
• Ability to perform daily lube route
• Experience with micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment
• Bridgeport and lathe experience
