We are seeking to hire a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Operations team. If any of the below describes you, we would love to meet you!

Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic will perform demand and preventive maintenance, as well as repair of facilities and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assure equipment and facilities are operational, functional, and in good repair.
2. Troubleshoot and repair facilities and equipment.
3. Complete maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
4. Perform preventive maintenance including checking and changing fluids, lubricating, packing mechanical units, maintaining filters, and equipment inspections.
5. Inspect, repair, and replace electronic and pneumatic instruments.
6. Disassemble and reassemble equipment.
7. Set up and move new or existing equipment.
8. Assist with instrument calibration and equipment validation.
9. Perform tasks in accordance with all applicable OSHA, cGMP, SOPs, and company environmental, safety, and health procedures.
10. Complete demand and preventive maintenance work orders.
11. Input data as necessary into the computerized maintenance system.
12. Support and promote safety and cGMP programs.
13. Follow other job-related instructions and complete other tasks as assigned by the Facilities and Engineering Manager.
14. Complete tasks safely and maintain alertness.
15. Uphold company policies, including conduct and harassment policies, and ethics.
16. Work cooperatively with managers, coworkers, customers, and the public.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a GMP environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine problems.
• Knowledge of electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics.
• Understanding of electrical power distribution and control.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and control circuits.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments and computers.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands

Must be able to sit, manipulate objects, reach, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 30 pounds. Vision abilities include close, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
