Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our on-site Albia, Iowa facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Repair or replace motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes and related components.
• Read manuals, diagrams, and schematics to guide maintenance work.
• Document work completed and report equipment status to production partners.
• Follow lockout/tagout and plant safety procedures.
• Support equipment installation and CI projects.

Job Details

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support production equipment and facility systems at our on-site operation in Albia, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and production equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Repair or replace motors, bearings, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, and related components
• Read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
• Document completed work and communicate equipment status to production partners
• Follow lockout/tagout and all plant safety procedures
• Support equipment installation and continuous-improvement projects

Qualifications

• Prior industrial maintenance, maintenance mechanic, millwright, or related experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with operations and engineering teams
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus
