Job summary

New Pig Corporation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at the Tipton, PA Meltblown facility on 1st shift. You will direct a team of maintenance professionals, driving uptime, predictive maintenance, and lean initiatives while partnering with Manufacturing and Engineering to optimize processes and safety.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, plus CMMS/ERP experience (Syteline).

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressively responsible job-related experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation) and industrial power systems.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic power systems knowledge.
• Experience reading design drawings and CAD drawings (mechanical/electrical).
• Web converting or Meltblown (MB) process experience a strong plus.
• MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with CMMS and ERP systems (such as Syteline).
• Willingness to seek out and achieve position-related training and/or certifications.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with limited daily supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of maintenance professionals in support of multi-shift production operation to achieve output, quality and financial performance goals and objectives.
• Manage maintenance operations via a CMMS using preventative and predictive philosophies.
• Ensure high machine uptimes and process capabilities to meet quality and production schedules, especially for the Meltblown process.
• Coordinate and support off-shifts to troubleshoot and repair equipment back to a safe and proper working condition.
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems including Allen-Bradley/ Rockwell controls, drives, and SCADA.
• Read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints for fabrication and troubleshooting.
• Work with production and engineering to deploy lean manufacturing principles and line process improvements.
• Develop and maintain maintenance training programs.

Maintenance Manager (Tipton, Meltblown)

This position will work at our Tipton, PA plant on 1 st Shift.

New Pig is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our Tipton, PA manufacturing facility on our Meltblown line. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring equipment reliability, uptime, and effective preventative and predictive maintenance programs. This role provides technical leadership across electrical, PLC, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while partnering with Manufacturing and Engineering to troubleshoot equipment, improve processes, and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives with a strong focus on safety, quality, and employee experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of maintenance professionals in support of multi-shift production operation to achieve output, quality and financial performance goals and objectives
• Manage maintenance operations via a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) using preventative and predictive philosophies
• Ensure high machine uptimes and process capabilities will meet quality and production schedules, with a specific understanding of the unique demands of the MB process where continual process adjustments are critical to maintain material performance specifications
• Coordinate and support off-shifts (including 2nd & 3rd shift as needed) to troubleshoot and repair equipment back to a safe and proper working condition.
• Troubleshoot and maintain complex machine control systems including industrial electrical equipment, electronic controls, drives, relays, SCADA, machine networks, and PLC systems (Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation)
• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical systems such as motors, gearboxes, power transmission systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Install, test, and maintain power distribution equipment as needed, including sub-panels, conduit, and wiring
• Support Manufacturing Engineering by fabricating, debugging, and installing custom-designed equipment via the use of machining centers (lathes, CNC, milling machines), plasma cutting, welding, and other equipment
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical CAD drawings, blueprints, and design drawings for the purpose of fabrication and troubleshooting
• Work with manufacturing managers to provide timely maintenance and repair of equipment
• Supervise the management of critical spare parts and all indirect inventories necessary for machine repairs
• Partner with production teams using systems like Syteline to track data, drive root-cause problem solving, and support line process improvements
• Develop and maintain maintenance training programs
• Lean Manufacturing - Facilitate and support the deployment of lean manufacturing techniques on all projects in support of a lean culture and the elimination of 8 wastes

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• 10 years of progressively responsible job-related experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
• Motor drive and PLC tech-level experience (Certifications a plus)
• Expertise with Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation) and industrial power systems.
