Job summary

Mercy Housing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager in North Highlands, CA to work on-site with the property management team at The Courtyards at Orange Grove. You will oversee day-to-day building maintenance, coordinate vendor contracts, and help manage the maintenance budget to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of skilled maintenance experience, a technical trade background, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of experience in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical expertise in one or more building trades.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle.
• Technical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patch and paint walls, trim, and ceilings.
• Clean, repair, and maintain appliances.
• Prepare units for new residents, including completing necessary turnover work.
• Perform routine plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Manage day-to-day maintenance functions.
• Assist with maintenance budget oversight.
• Coordinate and manage vendor contracts in collaboration with the property management team.

Pay

$28.00-$29.00/hour, depending on experience
