Job description

What you will be doing as a Manager – Maintenance Service:

In this role, you will manage the preparation and execution of airframe, engine, and avionics systems maintenance. You will oversee line service functions such as fueling, towing, and washing, ensuring compliance with the Service Center Quality System aligned with the ISO9002 Quality System Manual. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

  1. Supervise Technical Service Managers: Lead managers overseeing aircraft maintenance operations, ensuring high technical quality standards.
  2. Oversee Aircraft Operations: Manage fuel dispensing, towing, and aircraft positioning for efficient line service.
  3. Optimize Resources: Plan staffing, equipment, and facilities; prepare budgets and reports to improve operations.
  4. Enhance Efficiency: Drive operational efficiencies, focusing on labor utilization and billing.
  5. Implement Improvements: Develop and execute work method improvements through evaluation and recommendations.
  6. Support Sales and Estimates: Assist in preparing cost estimates and quotations for service proposals.
  7. Ensure Safety and Compliance: Maintain hazardous materials handling standards, enforce safety policies, and ensure ISO9002 compliance.
  8. Customer Account Management: Review customer accounts, respond to inquiries, and resolve billing issues.
  9. On-Time Delivery: Ensure timely aircraft delivery and track performance metrics.
  10. Loss Control: Implement programs to reduce scrap and shop losses.
  11. Customer Feedback: Review and share customer evaluations to improve service quality.
  12. Defect Reporting: Ensure defect reports are submitted according to regulations.

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant aviation experience.
  • Preferred: aftermarket repair/maintenance experience.
  • Helpful: pilot’s license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge.
  • Strong work ethic, confidentiality, and ability to manage multiple demands are advantageous.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills are beneficial.
