What you will be doing as a Manager – Maintenance Service:
In this role, you will manage the preparation and execution of airframe, engine, and avionics systems maintenance. You will oversee essential line service functions such as fueling, towing, and washing. Ensuring compliance with the Service Center Quality System in line with the ISO9002 Quality System Manual is a key responsibility. Join us and elevate your career.
Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Supervise Technical Service Managers: Lead managers overseeing aircraft maintenance operations, working with lead maintenance and avionics technicians to ensure high technical quality standards.
- Oversee Aircraft Operations: Manage fuel dispensing, towing, and aircraft positioning to ensure efficient line service functions.
- Optimize Resources: Plan and manage staffing, equipment, and facilities; prepare budgets and reports to improve operations.
- Enhance Efficiency: Drive operational efficiencies focusing on labor utilization and billing processes.
- Implement Improvements: Develop and execute work method improvements by evaluating techniques and gathering team recommendations.
- Support Sales and Estimates: Assist in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and quotations.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Maintain hazardous materials handling standards, enforce safety policies, and ensure ISO9002 compliance.
- Customer Account Management: Review customer accounts, respond to inquiries, and resolve billing issues.
- On-Time Delivery: Ensure timely aircraft delivery and monitor performance statistics.
- Loss Control: Implement programs to reduce scrap and shop losses, minimizing expenses.
- Customer Feedback: Review customer evaluations and share insights with teams to improve service quality.
- Defect Reporting: Ensure defect reports are submitted properly according to regulations.
What you need to be successful:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, or related field is required.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant aviation experience.
- Experience in aftermarket repair/maintenance is preferred.
- A pilot’s license is advantageous.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge is required.
- Strong work ethic, confidentiality, and ability to manage multiple demands are helpful.
- Team collaboration skills are beneficial.
