Job summary

Marquise is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the operations of our healthcare service site in Winnipeg. The role focuses on staff supervision, quality, and safety compliance, including HACCP and workplace regulations.

You will oversee purchasing, budgeting, and daily facility management, coordinating with administration, nursing, and resident care teams to maintain high standards and reliable service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' management experience in retirement or long-term healthcare setting.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and manage day-to-day operations to meet service levels.
• Maintain budgets, payroll, scheduling, and inventory controls.
• Coordinate Food, Housekeeping and Laundry services to ensure quality and safety.
• Implement and maintain the Quality Assurance program with audits.
• Oversee maintenance of building, equipment and grounds; address safety issues.
