Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Manager, Maintenance to organize and execute the maintenance of the community and physical plant at our Algonquin, IL location.

You will establish preventative maintenance schedules, troubleshoot building systems, use Yardi to track work orders, and ensure vehicles and safety equipment are properly maintained. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a stable workload.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• At least 2 years in a property maintenance role.
• Senior Living property maintenance experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical).

Responsibilities

• Establish and follow a preventative maintenance schedule for all systems.
• Troubleshoot and identify issues in electrical/plumbing/HVAC/mechanical systems.
• Utilize Yardi work order system to manage maintenance and repair tasks.
• Ensure community vehicles are maintained and drivers have current credentials.
• Adhere to on-call requirements for emergency repairs or maintenance.
