Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, maintenance management, or related technical field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant industrial maintenance experience may be considered, with strong electrical background and hands‑on PLC experience.
• Promote a strong safety culture through leadership, actions, and consistent adherence to safety protocols.
• Improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime through preventative maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with Operations and other plant departments.
• Manage maintenance activities and costs within the approved plant budget.
• Create a positive work environment that promotes safety, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and compliance.
• Communicate regularly with senior management regarding maintenance schedules, equipment issues, and plant priorities.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture through leadership, actions, and safety protocol adherence.
• Improve equipment and facility reliability and minimize downtime through preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with Operations and other plant departments.
• Manage maintenance costs within the approved plant budget.
• Create a positive work environment that promotes safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Communicate with senior management about maintenance schedules and priorities.
• Oversee maintenance of pumps, grinders, mixers, and other equipment.
• Conduct routine machinery inspections and ensure proper PPE use.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and reorder ahead of anticipated needs.
• Prepare work schedules and ensure attendance records comply with policies.
• Develop and enforce safety programs including LOTO and JSA.
• Identify gaps and manage corrective actions for maintenance and reliability.
