Job summary

SSAB Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager to provide strategic leadership for Primary End maintenance, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production equipment performance. The role includes planning, outage execution, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement across the maintenance team.

Responsibilities include directing maintenance activities, prioritizing work, utilizing plant maintenance software, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience leading a production or maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance systems and project management.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Proficiency with MES, CMMS, and M365; willingness to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Set department priorities, goals, and performance expectations; develop team members.
