Job summary
Pretium Packaging in Greensboro, NC seeks a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead a 7+ person team in a high-speed plastics facility. You will own molding and automation equipment reliability, drive continuous improvement, mentor technicians, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
Strong extrusion blow molding experience is essential, with 5–7 years in manufacturing maintenance and at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Qualifications
- Strong extrusion blow molding experience.
- 5–7 years maintenance experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Experience with injection/blow molding machinery, pneumatic systems, PLCs, hydraulics and electrical systems.
- Experience with inventory, MRO, preventive maintenance programs, CMMS and maintenance planning tools.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools (5S, Kaizen, RCA).
- Proven experience managing maintenance budgets and capital projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily activities of the maintenance team (7+ technicians).
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex molding and automation equipment.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering for seamless operations.
- Manage spare parts, budget, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure OSHA/ EPA regulatory compliance and safety.
