Job summary

Enviva in Greenwood, SC seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians responsible for safe, reliable site operations. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will drive maintenance methods, plan PMs, and coordinate with manufacturing to meet production targets.

You bring a strong mechanical background, TPM experience, and proven ability to coach staff, reduce downtime, and improve OEE. This role requires working in a hot, dusty industrial environment with strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline with 5-7 years of supervisory reliability-improvement experience.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and supporting autonomous manufacturing teams to deliver continuous improvements.
• Experience with TPM pillars—Autonomous and Effective Maintenance in a process environment is preferred.
• Experience with time, condition and predictive maintenance processes.
• Experience managing Preventative Maintenance practices.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and motivate staff and drive problem-solving on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and implements maintenance methods to reduce downtime and optimize technician utilization.
• Partners with manufacturing teams to meet production targets and quality objectives.
• Provides expertise to increase MTBF and reduce breakdowns through root cause analysis.
• Coordinates training for maintenance staff, operators, and Team Leaders.
• Supports TPM pillars and ensures reliable maintenance processes including 5S and spare parts control.
• Drives improvements during equipment changes to deliver new procedures and safety standards.
• Maintains a master maintenance plan aligned with business goals.
• Coordinates support for machining, welding, electrical, and contracted services.
