Job summary

Glacier West Self Storage is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance activities across multiple locations in WA and OR. The role requires hands-on maintenance expertise, scheduling, safety compliance, and coordination with operations to uphold property standards.

The position is full-time with competitive pay and benefits, including health and dental insurance, PTO, and a 401(k). Travel to sites around Woodland, WA; Vancouver, WA; and Tualatin, OR will be required.

Qualifications

• Advanced hands-on knowledge of facility maintenance.
• Intermediate mechanical skills.
• Intermediate plumbing skills.
• Intermediate electrical skills.
• Basic carpentry and sheetrock knowledge.
• Landscape maintenance capability.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Directly supporting assigned properties with work requests.
• Assist operations manager to maintain property standards and curb appeal.
• Ensure safety, workmanship, and conduct of maintenance staff.
• Complete regular inspections to assess damage and maintenance needs.
• Schedule and coordinate property work tasks.
• Ensure units are make-ready to company standards with quick turnaround.
• Evaluate performance of contractors and vendors.
• Travel as needed for assignments.
