Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead a maintenance team, drive safety, and optimize operations across the site in Jeffersonville, IN. You will blend strategic planning with hands-on problem solving and team leadership to deliver reliable performance.

Responsibilities include developing preventive maintenance programs, coordinating with operations, and managing external contractors while ensuring high-quality service and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering or 2+ years of Amazon RME experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, holidays.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to service technicians and automation engineers.
• Ensure safety protocols and procedures during maintenance activities.
• Design and implement preventative maintenance programs to enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate external contractors while maintaining high service standards.
• Monitor MHE metrics and address system performance with the team.
