Job summary

A leading vacation ownership company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations at a new resort in Texas. The ideal candidate should have a background in facilities management and hospitality, as well as relevant certifications. Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Good driving record clear of significant violations.
  • Experience in a manager-level resort maintenance role.
  • One to two years of experience in building and facilities maintenance.
  • Hazardous material handling training within six months of hire date.
  • Experience in care and maintenance of large swimming pools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance operations at a newly developed resort.
  • Coordinate work with outside vendors with minimal guest interference.
  • Supervise maintenance of chemical balances in swimming pools.
  • Maintain organized work areas and participate in weekend MOD program.
  • Lead and develop maintenance staff, including weekend coverage and safety programs.
  • Ensure guest safety and satisfaction through proactive maintenance and inspections.

Maidencane is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations at Hilton Head’s newest vacation ownership resort.

  • Supervises and maintains the upkeep of the property
  • Serves as the main source of contact for inspection agencies including Fire Safety, Water Safety, and Employee Safety
  • Maintains an organized work area
  • Participates in the weekend MOD program
  • Completes monthly inventories and sets par levels with Resort Manager’s approval
  • Supervises and performs maintenance and repair work on swimming pool facilities and related mechanical equipment, including electrical, pump and filtration, and plumbing systems
  • Supervises maintenance of chemical balances and the related chemical testing and injection systems
  • Supervises and assigns the work of maintenance employees
  • Inspects work for completeness
  • Provides direction and assignments to employees and maintains property management data book
  • Determines material, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete tasks
  • Orders all supplies promptly to complete projects
  • Assigns all painting, electrical and plumbing issues, waste management and landscaping duties to employees to complete with all units
  • Performs a variety of skilled work in the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of resort buildings and units, including carpentry, plumbing, filter maintenance, and light fixture maintenance
  • Performs general repairs as needed, such as painting, patching walls, security hardware, and landscaping
  • Maintains swimming pool during the summer season
  • Coordinates or installs, inspects, repairs and maintains the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems
  • Coordinates or inspects, operates and maintains the heating, cooling and ventilation systems
  • Coordinates and inspects major contract work on the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Here’s what you have already achieved:
