Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures in Clinton, IL, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and reliability for our new startup plant. You will develop maintenance strategies, oversee initial installations, and build a team from scratch.

You will monitor budgets, plan staff activity, coordinate with Production Supervisors, and implement a preventive maintenance program to maximize uptime and safety. Strong CMMS skills and leadership presence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent maintenance experience required.
• Minimum 7 years related work experience in manufacturing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with CMMS software and proactive maintenance approach.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control Maintenance Department operating, staffing and maintenance costs within established budget and guidelines.
• Manage, plan and assign maintenance personnel work activity according to schedules requirements.
• Coordinate procedures, equipment maintenance priorities, repair and installation work with Production Supervisors and Production Manager.
• Analyze and estimate cost on various maintenance and repair projects.
• Develop and maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Ensure record keeping accuracy of all logs for maintenance of cranes, mobile equipment and other equipment.
