Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Huntley, IL, to lead maintenance and projects, including equipment installs and system upgrades. You will direct a maintenance team and ensure project delivery on time and within budget.

The role focuses on safety, process improvements, and developing a proactive PM program while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors. This full-time, on-site position offers strong compensation and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, engineering strongly preferred.
• At least 6 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with CMMS (Limble preferred).
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and facility projects from planning through completion, including new equipment installations and system upgrades.
• Implement and review safety policies and standards, ensuring all activities meet or exceed safety protocols.
• Develop a PM program.
• Manage the department budget, prioritizing by urgency and available resources.
• Manage, mentor, train, and supervise team members, including personnel decisions, key metrics, and performance.
• Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for maintenance work.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance tasks and timing with affected teams and other department leadership.
• Maintain records and documentation to all requirements and regulations using a CMMS platform such as Limble.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective changes.
• Ensure timely inspections and upkeep of company property and systems.
• Keep the department, premises, and facilities clean and hygienic, meeting internal and external regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
