Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC seeks a Maintenance Manager to develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs for processing equipment. You will manage a team of maintenance staff, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely procurement of parts and tools while maintaining inventory and safety standards.

Qualifications include 3–5 years in maintenance management, an HS diploma and post-secondary mechanical studies, plus strong Excel skills and a detail-oriented, dependable approach.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains the preventive maintenance program for processing equipment by scheduling and managing all maintenance activities.
• Manages operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, tools, conveyors and production machines; follows manuals and specs and troubleshoots malfunctions.
• Identifies problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
• Manages full-time, temporary and contract maintenance personnel.
• Develops and maintains contracts with vendors and negotiates cost-effective tools, parts and services.
• Purchases and negotiates cost-effective tools, parts and maintenance/repair services from suppliers.
• Leads maintenance teams to minimize downtime and monitors adherence to preventive maintenance techniques.
• Maintains inventories of equipment, parts and supplies, anticipates needs, places orders and verifies receipt.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
• Maintains documentation of actions and requirements to ensure team continuity and safety compliance.
