Job summary

LHH is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a Direct Hire, permanent placement with a manufacturing client in the Louisville, KY area. You will lead a maintenance team, direct all maintenance activities across the facility, and drive preventative maintenance programs and capital projects. Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and ensuring health and safety standards.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is highly preferred.
• 8+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
• 5+ years of leadership directly managing maintenance/engineering staff.
• Experience managing Preventative Maintenance programs.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment and MRO needs.
• Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.
• Budgeting and performance management experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance personnel and activities across the facility.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain plant equipment.
• Create and implement preventative maintenance initiatives to improve uptime.
• Develop plans, budgets, staff scheduling, and training for the team.
• Lead capital projects and manage maintenance budgets.
• Manage MRO inventory and order parts as needed.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health & safety regulations.
