Job summary

The Hammitt Group in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities. You will lead a maintenance team and ensure safe, reliable operations across the site.

You will develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program, manage budgets, coordinate with vendors, and enforce safety protocols to minimize downtime and extend asset life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Knowledge of maintenance best practices and procedures.
• Experience with budget management and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all equipment and facilities.

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify issues and address them promptly.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Create and maintain maintenance schedules and documentation, including work orders, inventory, and maintenance logs.
• Manage the maintenance budget and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure maintenance activities do not disrupt daily operations.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures for all maintenance activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology and make recommendations for improvement.
