Job summary

Workforce Recruiter is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a commercial laundry operation in Early Branch, SC (near Charleston and Hilton Head). You will lead the maintenance department, directing the team and coordinating preventive maintenance across plant equipment.

The role requires a strong PM mindset, supervisory experience, and hands-on maintenance skills in machinery, electronics, hydraulics, and related systems. A family atmosphere and opportunities for growth are highlighted.

Qualifications

• 3+ years industrial maintenance with knowledge of machinery, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welder and boiler applications.
• Lead or supervisory experience required; management experience preferred.
• Commercial laundry experience is preferred; similar manufacturing industries also accepted.
• Must have a preventive maintenance mindset and experience managing a PM program in this industry or a similar industry.
• Electrical troubleshooting ability; PLC programming experience.
• Experience in carpentry, boiler repair, welding, and general facility repairs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations on all plant equipment.
• Supervise, direct, coordinate and assign daily work schedules to the maintenance team.
• Develop and implement computerized methods, control systems and procedures for an effective PM program and inventory system.
• Monitor energy use and advocate cost control and energy conservation.
• Recommend and communicate capital expenditures and materials to senior management.
