Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Manager for a high-volume foundry in Indiana. This hands-on leadership role oversees maintenance operations, drives preventive maintenance, and leads continuous improvement projects to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.

You will manage a team of maintenance professionals, develop and manage budgets, and apply welding, hydraulics, and PLC programming expertise to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role in a foundry or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in preventive maintenance, facility management, and project management.
  • Strong budgeting skills and experience managing budgets.
  • Demonstrated team leadership abilities, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in welding, hydraulics, and PLC programming.
  • Experience in process improvement, with a track record of driving efficiency and productivity enhancements.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • A solid understanding of OSHA compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to a variety of stakeholders.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
