American Spoon Foods Inc. in Michigan seeks an experienced maintenance leader for a hands-on role on the production floor and in leadership. You will build and run a strong preventative maintenance program, coordinate with service partners, and drive investments to improve efficiency while ensuring safety compliance.

You’ll focus on the production kitchen and occasionally oversee repairs in the warehouse and stores, working with the Production Kitchen Manager to fit maintenance around schedules.

Formación

• Five+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably food/beverage.
• Experience leading a maintenance team or shift.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proven track record running a preventative maintenance program.
• Knowledge of fire safety, OSHA, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Experience writing SOPs and safety documentation.
• Ability to justify capital investments with clear business cases.
• Excellent communication with vendors and coworkers.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in hot/noisy environments.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment quickly to minimize downtime.
• Build and maintain a preventative maintenance program with logs.
• Coordinate with outside repair partners and review quotes.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades.
• Oversee fire safety and facility compliance.
• Write and update safety manuals and SOPs.
• Support food safety and sanitation standards related to equipment.
• Occasionally oversee repairs in warehouse and stores.
• Plan maintenance around production schedules with Production Kitchen Manager.
