Job summary

Pero Family Farms is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee equipment maintenance, facility upkeep, and regulatory compliance within our food manufacturing environment. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge, and experience leading maintenance teams in a GMP setting.

You will develop preventive maintenance programs, manage the maintenance budget, coordinate with production, and ensure adherence to FDA, USDA, OSHA standards while driving reliability and energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Experience in maintenance management within food manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and automation technologies is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment and facilities condition and identify maintenance needs.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with production to schedule downtime with minimal disruption.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and coordinate repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and regulatory standards (FDA/USDA/OSHA).
• Develop maintenance staff and manage budgets and vendors.
