Job summary

Slate is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for General Assembly in Warsaw, Indiana. You will supervise a skilled maintenance team, oversee robot systems, conveyance, RCA, and preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.

The role requires a strong background in industrial maintenance, safety (LOTO/PPE), and collaboration with production, engineering, and plant leadership. A Bachelor’s in engineering is preferred, with 10+ years in maintenance and 4+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience with 4+ years in supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred with 3–5 years in maintenance/manufacturing.
• Hands-on proficiency with conveyors, bearings, seals, shafts, hydraulics, pneumatics, and pipefitting.
• Proficiency in PLCs, robotics, and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
• Plan, execute, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLCs, robotics, and vision systems.
