Job summary

Radius Packaging, headquartered in New Berlin, Wisconsin, is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our New Berlin facility. You will lead break/fix maintenance and setup teams 24/7, drive rapid, safe responses to breakdowns, and maintain equipment to OEM or better standards.

Responsibilities include developing the team, coordinating across departments, managing parts and costs, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements while supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management or equivalent.
• Five+ years of maintenance, engineering, reliability, or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC/automation, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, and water processing systems.
• Hands-on experience using maintenance tools and equipment to make or alter parts.

Responsibilities

• Lead break/fix maintenance activities for production equipment and the facility across all shifts.
• Establish an OEM or better standard of equipment care, repair quality, safety, communication, and accountability.
• Develop the technical skills of the maintenance team through coaching, training, and hands-on guidance.
• Identify, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
• Coordinate maintenance support and communicate status with Production, Quality, Engineering, Scheduling, and other departments.
• Plan and coordinate machine setups, including tools and equipment for blow molders and downstream equipment.
• Drive safe, consistent setups while reducing setup time from last good piece to first good piece.
