Ritz Instrument Transformers USA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager in Waynesboro, GA to oversee the organization;s physical infrastructure and grounds. You will direct personnel to ensure optimal performance of equipment and assets, while developing comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules and enforcing safety policies.

Job description

The Maintenance Manager oversees the organization's physical infrastructure and grounds, directing personnel to ensure the optimal performance of equipment, assets, and supplies. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive cleaning and preventative maintenance (PM) schedules, while enforcing plant policies, ensuring operational accountability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Furthermore, the Manager ensures strict adherence to safety protocols, coordinates strategic work plans, and provides leadership to maintenance teams to guarantee process reliability and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Oversight: Manage the upkeep of building grounds, equipment assets, and essential supplies.
  • Operational Planning: Establish and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules.
  • Policy & Accountability: Enforce all plant rules, safety regulations, and corporate policies to ensure full operational compliance and personal accountability.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise maintenance personnel, providing direction on work plans and performance expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement ongoing enhancements to workflows, equipment reliability, and waste reduction to drive plant efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Advanced Troubleshooting & Repair
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all facilities and processes strictly adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Safety Leadership: Lead proactive safety awareness and emergency preparedness protocols to protect the facility against fire, flooding, and other hazards.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of equipment preventative maintenance and safety corrections via eMaint.
  • Hazard Mitigation: Ensure immediate response and follow-up for all safety-related work orders to eliminate workplace risks.
  • Operational Oversight & Asset Management
  • Facility Infrastructure: Oversee the continuous operation and condition of critical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and essential building equipment.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive monitoring systems and maintenance schedules to identify issues early and ensure peak equipment efficiency.
  • System Reliability: Design and manage contingency plans for critical system failures, such as power outages or equipment breakdowns.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and execute strategic initiatives to enhance facility performance, waste reduction, and operational flow.
  • Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing technical training of facility staff to ensure a high-performing, competent team.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide mentorship or skills-enhancement programs for subordinates.
  • Training & Education: Instruct all organization staff on the proper use and care of facilities and equipment to prolong asset life.
  • Labor Management: Oversee department timekeeping and payroll, ensuring accurate tracking and the justified allocation of overtime to maintain budget integrity.
  • Strategic Coordination & Budgeting
  • Project Coordination: Manage departmental activities and special projects, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and strict timelines.
  • Financial Planning: Collaborate on the development of the annual maintenance budget to ensure adequate funding for operations and capital improvements.
  • Interdepartmental Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for upper management and coordinate with external vendors or internal units on cross-functional projects
  • Procurement Oversight: Manage the Maintenance Buyer and procurement workflows to ensure the availability of parts and supplies while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Manage CMMS system for all Maintenance Work & Preventative Maintenance
