Job Description

The Maintenance Manager assists the Plant Engineer in leading and directing salaried and hourly personnel engaged in all phases of the plant engineering function, including installation, repair, and maintenance of all plant systems, equipment, grounds, and facilities. This individual is expected to provide high-level technical service in a safe manner, partnering with other leaders to produce glass containers with continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.

The Maintenance Manager Should Have

• Strong maintenance background, including experience with conveyors, electrical controls, and automation
• Experience with maintenance management software (specifically SAP)
• Experience in a maintenance leadership role
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels

The Maintenance Manager Will

• Assist in directing preventive maintenance programs
• Coordinate and supervise all construction and service work performed by outside contractors
• Conduct periodic inspections of plant systems, equipment, facilities, and grounds; oversee upgrades
• Review shift operations, make decisions, and implement actions impacting processing, personnel, and customer requirements
• Track downtime and implement solutions to reduce it

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
• At least 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing
• Glass industry experience highly preferred
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Authorized to work full-time in the U.S.

Salary Range: The expected salary range is between $110,000 and $140,000, including a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay depends on experience and other factors.
