A leading food production company is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join the Swedesboro team ASAP. Please see additional details below:

• Permanent position
• $130k-$140k base annual salary + benefits
• Full-time onsite in Swedesboro, NJ

Requiring experience working within a food processing or manufacturing environment

Responsibilities:

1. Develop detailed maintenance project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
2. Utilize systematic project management approaches and promote continuous improvement tools.
3. Ensure maintenance projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Meet project objectives on schedule, safely, and within budget.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and organizational leaders.
6. Design and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce costs and downtime; plan and execute equipment overhauls for durability and maintainability.
7. Troubleshoot and repair equipment promptly across electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing systems.
8. Develop and manage work order, backlog, control, and job assignment systems.
9. Lead and execute capital projects aligned with 1, 3, and 5-year business plans.
10. Establish KPIs and reports to monitor and communicate performance.
11. Ensure resources are budgeted and available to meet objectives efficiently and timely.
12. Manage and achieve the engineering department’s annual budget.
13. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and cost reduction.
14. Ensure compliance with quality, GMPs, safety, and company procedures.
15. Develop and revise operational practices; oversee compliance through worker observation.
16. Manage building modifications, maintenance of interior structures, and oversee installation of new machinery.
17. Maintain good housekeeping, waste, air, and water quality standards.
18. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations, including OSHA and health department inspections.
19. Assist with inspections and audits for various certifications and compliance standards.
20. Prepare and manage the maintenance department’s annual budget.
