Job description

A leading North American Baking Company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join the Swedesboro team immediately. This is a permanent, full-time onsite position based in Swedesboro, NJ, with an annual salary range of $130k-$140k plus benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed maintenance project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Utilize systematic project management approaches and promote continuous improvement tools.
• Ensure maintenance projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Meet project objectives on schedule, safely, and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and organizational leaders.
• Design and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce costs and downtime, including planning equipment overhauls.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment promptly across electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing disciplines.
• Develop and manage work order, backlog, control, and job assignment systems.
• Lead capital projects aligned with business development plans.
• Establish KPIs and reporting systems to monitor performance.
• Manage resources and budgets effectively to meet objectives.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards, including GMPs, OSHA, and local codes.
• Oversee building modifications, maintenance, and installations of new machinery.
• Maintain good housekeeping, waste management, and environmental standards.
• Assist with inspections and audits by regulatory bodies and certification organizations.
• Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget.
