Job summary

Universal Pure, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee plant maintenance, staff, facilities, and equipment readiness. You will coordinate with Maintenance Supervisors and Plant Manager to ensure equipment is kept in optimal condition and ready for production.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and hands-on troubleshooting, with focus on preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and cost-effective project delivery. This is an on-site position at our Oklahoma facility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
• Assign tasks to maintenance staff and managers the quality and timeliness of task completion.
• Conduct regular audits of all equipment and facilities (HVAC, electrical, security, POWERED equipment, stationary).
• Collaborates with area Production Managers as needed.
• Ensure spare parts are in stock.
• Provide training, development, and coaching to maintenance staff.
• Troubleshoot repairs with root cause analysis and remediation options.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Develops and manages performance matrices for the team.
• Help monitor maintenance records and FIXX tasks.
• Maintain Preventive Maintenance schedules.
• On-call ability as needed.

Brief Description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance, including the maintenance staff, facilities maintenance, Powered Industrial Equipment, and stationery equipment. The Maintenance Manager collaborates with the Maintenance Supervisor, Production Supervisors, and Plant Manager to ensure equipment is ready to go.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key Accountabilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
• Assigns tasks to respective maintenance staff and managers the quality and timeliness of task completion
• Conducts regular audits of all equipment and facilities, including but not limited to:
• Building
• HVAC
• Electrical
• Relevant security equipment
• Powered Industrial equipment
• Stationary equipment
• Collaborates with area Production Managers as needed
• Ensure spare parts are in stock
• Provide training, development, and coaching to maintenance staff.
• Effective and accurate troubleshooting methods of repair for equipment with root cause analysis of malfunction and options for remediation.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Develops and manages performance matrices for the team.
• Helps to monitor maintenance records
• Helps to manage FIXX tasks.
• Maintained Preventive Maintenance schedules.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possesses a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Minimum 5 yrs experience in Manufacturing

Working Conditions

• This job operates in a cold and wet environment located within the facility.
• Requires standing for the entire shift, bending, twisting, and lifting.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• Push/pull up to 250 pounds on rollers regularly.
