Job summary

MAU Workforce Solutions is recruiting a Maintenance Controls Manager for a client in Conway, SC to lead maintenance reliability and controls efforts in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on improving equipment reliability, increasing on-stream time, reducing costs, and supporting plant capacity with a strong safety performance. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with experience in highly technical operations/facility management
  • 5–7 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Maintenance engineering skills
  • Ladder logic programming experience related to process automation and control
  • PLC experience, including required Allen-Bradley experience
  • Prefer Microsoft Office, CMMS, and Oracle; experience with Siemens control systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to maintain a World Class Safety program and Safety Performance
  • Set goals and develop and implement programs to achieve plant and business objectives
  • Increase on-stream time and reduce costs through improved equipment reliability
  • Track and trend reliability metrics, including TBC and costs
  • Apply preventive, predictive, and proactive tools and programs effectively
  • Take an active role in maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with engineers, maintenance, and operators to implement new process operating conditions and procedures
  • Respond as required to specific equipment and performance problems
  • Maintain the integrity of all drawings, specifications, programs, compliance/inspection records, and other documentation
  • Adhere to all ISO system requirements

MAU is hiring a Maintenance Controls Manager for our client in Conway, SC. As a Maintenance Controls Manager, you will lead maintenance reliability and controls efforts to improve equipment reliability, increase on-stream time, reduce costs, support plant capacity, and maintain safety performance in a 24/7 manufacturing plant. Required Education and Experience
  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with experience in highly technical operations/facility management

  • Ability to achieve cost reduction through simplification of part/component design
  • Ability to increase plant capacity
  • Compliance with ITAR and/or EAR requirements
  • Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 and 15 C.F.R. § 772.1
  • Must provide proof substantiating status as a U.S. Person
