A growing manufacturing facility is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations, improve equipment reliability, and support a fast-paced production environment.This role is best suited for someone who can lead technicians, prioritize downtime issues, improve preventative maintenance execution, and drive accountability while remaining highly engaged with plant operations.The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, troubleshooting ability, and experience working within regulated industrial manufacturing environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise maintenance technicians across daily plant operationsManage preventative maintenance programs, work orders, and equipment reliability initiativesCoordinate labor scheduling, technician assignments, and weekly payroll approvalsSupport production by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures with urgencyTroubleshoot and support mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related equipment issuesImprove PM effectiveness, spare parts organization, and maintenance documentationWork closely with operations and quality teams to improve overall plant performanceDrive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiativesManage outside vendors, contractors, and OEM relationshipsParticipate in capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with OSHA, safety, and regulatory requirementsSupport and maintain PSM-related programs and proceduresOversee ammonia refrigeration maintenance activities and contractor coordinationDevelop and mentor maintenance personnel while building accountability within the departmentQualificationsPrevious maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing, food production, chemical, or industrial processing environmentsExperience working around ammonia refrigeration systemsWorking knowledge of PSM (Process Safety Management) programs and compliance requirementsStrong troubleshooting background in industrial equipment and plant systemsExperience leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced production environmentKnowledge of preventative maintenance systems, inventory/spare parts management, and maintenance planningExperience with conveyors, packaging equipment, motors, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automated systems preferredAbility to communicate effectively with both plant leadership and maintenance personnelScheduleMonday-FridayTypical schedule: 8am-5pm
