Position Overview:
The Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all facility systems within a fast-paced supply chain logistics operation. This role is responsible for managing maintenance activities across material handling equipment (MHE), conveyance systems, electrical, HVAC, racking, and general facility infrastructure. The Maintenance Manager leads a team of technicians to support uninterrupted distribution center operations through preventive maintenance, rapid response to breakdowns, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong knowledge of warehouse systems and conveyance equipment is preferred, along with experience in vendor management, safety compliance, and cross-functional coordination.

Travel Specifics: 10%
Competitive Total Rewards: Competitive salary of $92,000–$95,000, along with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, sick time, and company holidays. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement all maintenance activities at the site, ensuring repairs and improvements are completed timely and effectively.
Plan and supervise all hourly maintenance associates.
Prioritize, schedule, and follow up on daily maintenance activities.
Ensure all facility systems are reliable and compliant with customer and regulatory specifications.
Develop training and development plans for maintenance staff.
Coordinate planned outages and facility projects.
Inspect electrical and power systems regularly for safety and functionality.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and corporate safety policies.
Maintain records of service cycles and maintenance activities.
Order and manage inventory of spare/replacement parts and associated documentation.
Use and maintain electrical repair and testing tools appropriately.
Conduct light building maintenance including bulb replacement, painting, and caulking.
Perform daily inventory counts and manage movement of equipment between buildings.
Enforce and report compliance with corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Observe and promote all company safety rules.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic machinery
Proven experience working in a fast-paced, multiphase production or distribution environment
3 to 5 years of facilities maintenance experience, including warehouse equipment and grounds upkeep
HVAC, plumbing, and electrical certifications preferred
Strong knowledge of conveyance systems, including maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting
Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and repair of material handling equipment (MHE)
Ability to effectively use various power and hand tools
Forklift operation certification or experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality
Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for extended periods
