Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the maintenance team and ensuring the proper functioning of hydraulic and electrical equipment used in the manufacturing of blow-molded bottles and containers. The role involves decision-making, team management, and maintenance planning to maximize equipment reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and lead a team of mechanical and electrical personnel in executing safe and effective maintenance procedures.
2. Develop and oversee a maintenance program that includes preventive and routine maintenance to minimize machine downtime.
3. Lead repairs and rebuilds of equipment to prevent breakdowns, ensuring safety and accurate documentation.
4. Train and develop maintenance staff.
5. Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions.
6. Manage spare parts inventory.
7. Ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
8. Set and monitor goals for the maintenance department aligned with plant and business objectives.
9. Maintain equipment to meet production schedules and quality standards.
10. Improve equipment availability and advance maintenance programs for plant reliability.
11. Optimize utilization of maintenance technicians and equipment, and improve planning and scheduling processes.
12. Drive improvements through training, capital projects, and other initiatives.
13. Analyze maintenance problems and implement corrective actions.
14. Develop and maintain parts inventory system.
15. Evaluate employee performance and identify training and development needs.
16. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a plant-wide Maintenance Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering.
• Experience with injection molding or foaming is preferred.
• PLC experience is a plus.

Compensation

Targeted Pay Range: $99,500.00 - $123,900.00
