## Maintenance ManagerApply: Gurnee, IL: Full time: Posted Today: R-2300**Position Title:** Maintenance Manager**Position Summary**Join Vantage Specialty Chemicals as a Maintenance Manager and lead our maintenance operations to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of our facilities. Drive excellence in equipment maintenance and reliability and contribute to our success in the chemical manufacturing industry.**Position Scope**This is an in-office position that works out of the Gurnee, IL manufacturing site. Reporting to the Site Leader, the Maintenance Manager sits on the Site Leadership team. Direct Reports include a Reliability Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor. Additional indirect reports (report into the Maintenance Supervisor) include skilled Boiler Technicians, Technicians, Welders, Maintenance Mechanics and a Stockroom Coordinator. The Gurnee site is a 24/7 batch chemical manufacturing operation, sitting on 13 acres.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**List the key responsibilities for this role. * **Develop and Implement Maintenance Plans:** Create and execute maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operation of all equipment and systems.* **Lead and Supervise Team:** Manage a team of maintenance engineers, maintenance technicians, electricians, and parts department personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards.* **Foster Team Dynamics:** Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Encourage open communication, teamwork, and a culture of continuous improvement.
