Job summary

CPS, Inc. in Greensboro, NC seeks a plant maintenance leader to oversee plant-wide equipment maintenance, manage internal technicians and external contractors, and optimize maintenance workflows using SAP PM.

You will develop preventive maintenance programs to maximize uptime, champion a zero-accident safety culture, drive Six Sigma (ALPS) and Kaizen initiatives, manage budgets, lead RCA on chronic failures, and monitor KPIs.

Job description

• Oversee plant-wide equipment maintenance, directly managing internal technicians and external outsourced contractors.
• Optimize maintenance workflows by utilizing SAP PM
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and ensure strict adherence to schedules.
• Champion a zero-accident safety culture,
• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, driving equipment reliability through Six Sigma (ALPS) methodologies and Kaizen events.
• Maintain the critical asset registry, updating equipment lists in alignment with asset integrity and process safety standards.
• Manage the maintenance budget, strategically allocating funds for predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance investments.
• Collaborate on contract negotiations and service agreements with external maintenance providers.
• Lead talent development by training, motivating, and fostering safety and operational awareness across the maintenance team.
• Deploy advanced predictive
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) on chronic equipment failures
• Audit PM compliance and effectiveness, tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
